Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Support FM in rectification of any discrepancies related to invoices/PO, satisfactorily answering queries; examine any non-payment issues notified by vendors/payees and take actions as appropriate.
• Maintain creditor/customer files and monitor regularly for outstanding payments
• Prepare a consolidated weekly/monthly Aging report for Finance Managers review
• File the receipts along with the invoice and other documents in the Bank Voucher file
• Collect cash from the Gate clerks at the beginning and end of the shifts
• Prepare deposit slip and update the details of deposits in QuickBooks
• Prepare cash collection summary report for the day for supervisor’s verification and submit to Finance Manager for verification and approval.
• Maintaining accounting records such as bank reconciliations, general ledger accounts, and subsidiary ledgers.
• Assisting in preparing monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements to submit to external auditors for review and approval.
• Assisting with the preparation of budget forecasts used in planning efforts by management teams.
• Making recommendations for reducing cost and increasing revenue
• Preparing and filing taxes including VAT returns
• Keeping track of assets such as cash, inventory, and liabilities, such as machinery depreciation.
• Scrutiny of general ledger and balance sheet items

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance
• Good accounting and numerical skills
• Good Command over spoken and written English Language
• Excellent Computer Skills with
  Office 365, MS Office suite, ERPs includes SAP, Quickbooks,
  Advanced in MS Excel including
  formulas, functions, PivotTables and data Ranges, data Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH etc.

Safety Officer

Responsibilities:

• To develop, implement and monitor HSE Policy, Programs and Procedures

• To establish budget proposals for the operation of HSE and training programs.
• To increase health and safety awareness at all levels of organization
• To investigate and report all serious/critical personal injury / accidents at sites to the staff, visitors and senior official along with the property damage.
• To respond to employees’ safety concerns
• To conduct necessary safety inspection, respond to fire and other emergencies.
• To coordinate removal of hazardous waste from the premises
• To arrange for Occupational Health and Safety testing / evaluations of the workplace either internally / externally as required.
• To coordinate in training of personnel in the areas of first aid, safety, accident prevention and investigation, work place inspections etc.,
• To develop, review, update appropriate section of Emergency Procedures Manual.
• To liaise with the government authorities, fire department and others if required.
• To assume other duties as may be assigned
• To ensure that necessary inspection of fire extinguishers, exit lights, hose reels, emergency lights are carried out regularly along with servicing.
• To maintain necessary Accident Register and update regularly
• To ensure mandatory agreements are entered with the company and the supplier.
• To ensure that all employees are inducted prior to the start of the work
• To compile a fall protection plan to avoid any accidents / damages
• To prepare the site emergency evacuation plan and ensure all supervisors and contractors are supplied with a copy of the plan.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree/ Certifications in NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, Fire & Safety, First Aid, Industrial Safety Management
• 3-5 years experience
• Coordination Skills, Attentive to details

Customer Service

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for continuous improvement of process and procedures opportunities.
• Monitoring and managing the Quality of Service (QoS)
• Analyse data from multiple sources to identify areas of customer service improvement and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Manage and resolve customer related complaints and escalate to the concerned departments / management.
• Maintain effective tracking system of customer complaints and enquiries
• Manage and resolve issues escalated by internal and external customers
• Provide advices to the concerned staff in improving the customer relationship.
• Coordinate with the management in improving the customer service lead time and cost reductions.
• Obtain competitive info and develop strategy to improve the business
• Maintain an accurate clientele database
• Identify and develop sources of potential clients
• Handle customer service related enquiries
• Maintain good internal communication
• Resolve conflicts and negotiates with clients
• To oversee and ensure smooth functioning of day to day activities of the Gate Clerks.
• To supervise a team of Coordinators and Data Entry Clerks
• To ensure that the team works within the framework of company policy and procedures.
• Initiate and take corrective steps to motivate the work performance of the team.
• To resolve the conflicts / complaints that may arise due to heavy vehicular traffic.
• Provide training and coaching to the new team member
• To prepare duty rosters, weekly off schedules, annual leave planner
• To process necessary documentation and update relevant info in terminal operating system (Depot Systems).
• To perform other duties as assigned by superiors
• To arrange the replacement staff in case of shortages due to absences or leaves etc.,

• Automotive and Workshop industry preferred
• Presentation skills and an ability to present the ideas to the management

Coordinators:

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including shipping lines, consignees, and transporters.
• Process estimate approvals promptly and accurately.
• Monitor job repairs and collaborate closely with the Workshop team to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Encode repair estimates into the customer’s online system with precision.
• Prepare invoices with a high level of accuracy.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly, escalating complex issues when necessary.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of container maintenance and repair processes.
• IICL6 Certification is desirable.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and invoicing.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage customer concerns effectively.
• Willingness and ability to work on a rotating shift schedule.
